Sleeping in Intsini Tented Lodge, you feel like you are in the heart of the bush. The camp is a luxury tented lodge on the banks of the perennial Mlawula River, and it is peaceful and beautiful. Each tent provides a king sized bed with crisp white linens, a lovely full bathtub, ensuite toilets, hot water, electricity, a deck, and a very nicely done outside shower. Single mattresses are available upon request for children to sleep on the floor; extra cozy blankets are provided in winter. Go to sleep hearing the bush unfolding all around you, and wake up refreshed in the Mbuluzi bushveld.

Lolling on the ledge of the swimming pool, the Tented Lodge is extremely comfortable in any season.

The main thatched lodge is welcoming and well-equipped, and its large stone deck overlooks a shallow pool in the river and a steep rocky mountain-face on the opposite bank. Giraffe, Nyala and bushbuck frequent the camp. The lodge has an outdoor covered seating area with a stone fireplace for “indoor” braais/barbeques, and the outdoor braai/barbeque is always laid, surrounded by a stone seating area. There is a small outdoor bar, skottle, weber, microwave, stove, fridge and all other self-catering provisions. Sit back with a glass of wine under the African stars and enjoy your visit!
