MSG Tours Rugby Lions tour to SA & Eswatini launches today

MSG Tours, a UK sports orientated tour operator, have launched their latest tour today, Monday 4th May, heading over to southern Africa in July 2021 for the British and Irish Lions Tour to South Africa. Whilst participants will experience all of the rugby matches in South Africa, the tour will see Eswatini feature prominently for the first time, showcasing a number of the country’s top attractions.

To coincide with the launch of their Lions Tours, MSG have released a fantastic new brochure inspiring potential visitors to book this trip of a lifetime. As there is around a week between each test match, MSG have arranged a number of action-packed itineraries, including taking guests over the border into Eswatini. The brochure gives a stunning example of what you’ll be up to.

Migrate east of Jo’Burg between the opening two Tests where a warm Swazi welcome awaits you. Nature lovers can track down the ‘Big 5’ in the wild lowveld and spy rare birds in the rugged highveld.

Retrace the footsteps of the early settlers on the colonial trail en-route to climbing Sibebe Rock, white water rafting, golfing or caving. Or, if your desired place is a touch slower, sip wine, wander the markets or treat yourself to one of the many spa services.

MSG has secured the Royal Swazi Spa Valley Resort in Ezulwini Valley, where you can unpack, unwind and indulge. Within the complex, golf, horse riding and hiking are popular activities to take in the stunning scenery. Stroll for 6 minutes, keeping a keen eye for blue tin roofs and you will find yourself in the sea of colours at Ezulwini Craft Market. Test your haggling abilities at the stalls that are bursting with local carvings, weavings and crafts!

The Kingdom is a culturally rich country that really does deliver the unexpected on every level.

MSG Tours are also working alongside SKRUM, an Eswatini-based charity that educates and supports communities on healthcare through a universal passion for rugby. MSG tours have launched their “1 million rand” initiative to support four charities as part of their Lions tour.
