Launched on 22 December, 2022 by the Minister of Tourism & Environmental Affairs, MP Moses Vilakati, the restaurant offers a high-end dining experience in a tranquil and exclusive atmosphere. A true royal experience, Happy Valley Hotel’s Fine Dining Restaurant boasts a 6-course menu ranging from starters and salads, to mains and desert.
This marks the hotel’s fourth restaurant and the newest addition to the impressive upgrades it has undergone in the last two years. The Fine Dining Restaurant is a remarkable complement to the expansion of the hotel’s accommodation facilities that saw the addition of 60 luxury rooms.
Speaking during the Eswatini Tourism Authority’s tourism radio show on EBIS 1, the hotel’s Marketing & Sales Officer, Noxolo Nkabinde indicated that this was a monumental feat in diversifying Eswatini’s tourism product offerings.
“With our new restaurant, Eswatini can now be listed among fine dining destinations around the world. This means that the country will continue to attract more international tourists who will may be looking for this kind of experience,” said Nkabinde.
Commenting on how the luxury fine dining restaurant will whet EmaSwati’s appetite for more local travel, Nkabinde said the benefits were vast.
“EmaSwati will not have to look across the borders of the country to relish fine dining experiences. We can all now enjoy this exclusive tourism offering right here at home,” she said.
In his keynote address delivered at the launch of the restaurant, the Minister of Tourism & Environmental Affairs applauded Happy Valley Hotel for introducing a luxurious selection of dishes that will prepared to the highest of standards.
“We are confident that the Fine Dining Restaurant will continue to maintain the exceptional standards of customer service that saw the hotel win the Customer Centric Leisure and Tourism Award of the year at the 2022 Eswatini Customer Service Excellence Awards,” stated the Minister.
The Minister went on to appeal to EmaSwati to indulge in the restaurant’s offerings.
“We plead with EmaSwati to support and explore the new restaurant as citizens continue to be the main ambassadors for tourism. Such a product contributes towards the strides of showcasing the beauty of the Kingdom of Eswatini on a global scale as the country continues to see an increase in international tourist arrivals,” he added.
Happy Valley Hotel’s Fine Dining Restaurant is open to all on a daily basis from 5pm.
