Eswatini to offer luxury flight services with partners Royal Jet

The Royal Eswatini National Airways Corporation (RENAC) has partnered with Royal Jet, an international luxury flight services provider headquartered in Abu Dhabi, to offer a charter flight service from The King Mswati III International Airport to desired destinations once travel re-starts.

After His Majesty the King Mswati III returned from a trip to the United Arab Emirates earlier this year he commissioned RENAC to engage with Royal Jet to bring a luxury 28- seater Boeing 737 BBJ to Eswatini. The Chief Executive Officer Captain President Qiniso Dhlamini of RENAC emphasised that the plane from Royal Jet will be ready to be booked for take-off and go wherever the client wished.

The Boeing 737 is characterised by unparalleled cabin spaces, private master bedrooms, seating and dining areas, VIP and business class seating, private state room and lounge. Royal Jet representatives came to Eswatini to showcase the aircraft to government ministers including the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Moses Vilakati and, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Thuli Dladla.

Meanwhile, the RENAC CEO said the benefits that would result from their partnership had already started emerging. “This partnership will activate the economy of Eswatini, and stakeholders in hospitality and aviation have started benefiting,” he said. The CEO announced that the pilot and engineers from Royal Jet had permanently booked two villas at the Royal Villas, and have established a base in the country. The Royal Villas will also be catering and doing laundry for premium clients and the crew.

There are also myriad opportunities for RENAC inclusive of ground handling and cleaning services which will be offered to Royal Jet at a fee. And a major benefit for us is that Royal Jet will be getting their aviation fuel from RENAC’s fully-fledged fuel farms at the Matsapha and KM III International Airport,” said Dhlamini. Dhlamini also mentioned that RENAC’s sister company, Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA) would provide Royal Jet landing and parking services.

This exclusive service to clients adds a superior option to wealthy clients travelling to and from Eswatini.
