Choose Eswatini This Festive Season – Relish the wonders of the Lubombo Region

Eswatini’s Lubombo region is packed with unique and refreshing experiences that will make your festive season an unforgettable one!

Whether you are travelling as a group of friends, looking for a family-friendly getaway or an intimate escape for two, the Lubombo region truly has something for everyone.

What’s more, the myriad of attractions will entice you into staying a minimum of 4 nights to fully savour the unique attractions and wholesome cuisine it boasts.

The Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) continues to encourage EmaSwatini to explore the various holiday options available in the Kingdom through this year’s domestic tourism festive season campaign, #ChooseEswatini. With supporting hashtags, #PholaEswatini, #PhumulaEswatini and #NgcebelekaEswatini, the campaign is centred on promoting Eswatini holiday packages designed by local tour operators for the festive season. This makes planning your next Eswatini getaway seamless because tour operators are highly experienced on Eswatini’s tourism offerings and stand ready to offer local travel packages suitable for all ages and travel groups.

As part of the campaign’s activities, the ETA had the opportunity to explore the Lubombo region during the first #ChooseEswatini media excursion for an exciting 3-night’s stay, along with tour operators from Nolu Events and Tours and Stibas Tours. This was courtesy of Mhlume Country Club, Mananga Country Lodge and Simunye Country Club who each hosted us for a night at their top-of- the-range establishments. Travelling as a group of 11 people, we also made stop-overs to the Sugarcane Museum in Tabankulu, the enchanting Mbuluzi Game Reserve and one of Eswatini’s iconic game reserves, Hlane Royal National Park.

Here is our itinerary to inspire your next holiday getaway to the dynamic Lubombo region.
